KSD VII

By RSM - Posted on 04 November 2009

Ok...I know it's early to ask but i'm planing on making all the partys next year.I got screwed out of a few days at work and it's not happening again. Would it be safe to say that next years KSD's will be about the same time as this year?

I wish I could answer that right now but circumstances wont allow me to do that.Sorry I know that doesn't help.

No problem...just trying to get a jump start on next year.

Any ideas yet as to a date or still around mid Sept? If I remember right, registration started in March or April for last years event...just trying to stay ahead of the game at work...thanks!!!

I see why you couldn't say anything now...bummer!!! Why not back at the airfield or where ever it was held before??

The only time we have been able to hold the drags at the airport is when the airport is closed because of an air and auto show and at the moment there isnt one of those either.

Ok...I thought there was an abandon air field where it was held before. Well....maybe something will come up...wishful thinking.

Dont ever think we are not trying................ Wink

I don't think that for a minute!! I came up for the first time last year and I'm HOOKED!!! Even though riding a wheelie on my first pass was a blast...I wanted to bring up my Pinto this year. Hopefully something happens.

I dont see anything changing as far as there not being a Kingman Street Drags this year. But that just means that the 2011 Kingman Street Drags is going to be spectacular............ Cool

Lets hope they get the school done.

I think that it's a given since they have classes already scheduled for the semester but hey your right that doesn't mean its done until it's done.
Going to be a lot of fun to get the race back down town though...............

I work for a school district west of Phoenix. I haven't seen a new school open on time yet...lol...they usually aren't 100% done either. At least Pinks All Out is supposed to be here in November I believe...something to look forward to.

I think that sounds like some fun, you could also check out the new track being built in Hurricane Utah the web site is new and they are not opperating yet but its www.racerhr.com.
September through November is nice up there.

Sounds like it might be kinda fun to do. Quite a long drive from Buckeye though.

Hey whats a road trip........... Smile

It's only like a 10hr drive or something...lol

ONLY 10!! Count me in!!

I doubt my car will be ready so stop asking!!

We'll have to see what they hold as far as an opening event...might be fun for a road trip....1/8 mile seems kinda short though...LOL

Oh come on its twice as far as 330'.....................lol.

this is true...but at 660ft...not enough time to have fun...lol
